mine does it too. i ride mine like i stole it most the time (joke) everday commute and tour it with no problems.

 

So you have a little noise to it but nothings wrong. I've heard Hondas are just noisey bikes. So maybe its nothing to worry ahout

 

Mine just started it today after replacing the timing guides and tensioner and I feel a little rattle in the clutch it sounds like its coming from the clutch basket or somewhere behind the clutch cover.

 

Upon further inspection I believe it's just a valve tick

 

Yea that could be true. I heard that somewhere else also.

 

does your battery just so happen to keep going dead?

 

Nah battery's good. Everything runs and works fine just has that slight tick between 5000 and 5500. Whether I'm accel or decel it makes that dragging ticking sound. I always thought it was resonators or the ram air making noise
