Question No o2 sensor?

Ok. I've had my bike for several months now, but have an odd question. I know stock the bikes have an o2 sensor. Not exactly what it's for, but that's not the question. I tried searching, and couldn't find anything, but I have a Scorpion exhaust. Slip on. There is a spot for the sensor to attach, but has a cap over it. Also, my sensor is nowhere to be found. I'd like to know if I need to put one on.

HOWEVER, in the semi near future (1-3 months) I plan on putting in a K&N air filter, and then power commander, which I hear is highly recommended. Will I still need/want the sensor?

The bike has been fine since I got it. Doesn't seemed starved or anything.

Only the Cali models have the O2 sensor. My scorpion pipe has the same thing. Just leave the cap on and will be fine!

+1.

Whether you want it is up to you. If you're going to do it, you may as well just throw on an Air\Fuel guage, so you can at least get some useful feedback from the thing.
