this might be a stupid question, but i was looking at my bike, and thinking of different mods for it. and thought of this, would it be possible to put a different swingarm on a 2001 f4i, maybe a 600 rr swimgarm. it might be lighter. so anyone with lots of knowledge on swingarms, please write back. thank you.

 

you should try doing a search on the topic. it has been done with no noticeable performance or handling gains. the only thing you really notice is a slightly different look, and a little less weight in your pocket. lol you need to also pick up a whole bunch of other things to make it work.... If you search there is a post about it

 

...and you get the threaded holes for spools.

Still hacks me off that Honda screws the F4i out of spool mounts.
