Default New Power Commander III

I just bought a power commander III with the USB port. I was wanting to know if anyone has a good map to use with my set up. I have a cut down jardine rt-one pipe (10 inches long) with a stock air filter. I am not sure what else effects how my bike runs. I do not want to get it custom dyno tuned or whatever, that sounds like too much $$$/Trouble. I know that most people say to just test and try and see which one works out best but i was wondering if anyone had a shortcut and could just point me in the right direction of what map to download and where to download it at to best fit my setup. ALSOOOO...if there are any tips to installing it on an 01 F4i i'd love to hear them.

Much Appreciation!!! THANKS!!

A custom tune is always far more worth it than trying to short cut a map for your bike. Bikes are different, and one person's map might suck for you.

Pick one of the stock maps for now, and save up the money to get it tuned.

i believe if you go to the power commander website they have downloadable maps for the PCIII's...if not try jardines site. I would just get the map for the normal jardine rt-1

Sweet...i can't wait to try it. Is there a noticeable difference or is it just the thought in your head that you are doing something that's good for the bike?? lol

Thanks for the info Jmclmorrow and nor_cal_cbr. I'm sure that it will be useful once i get the PCIII.
