I've got the same issue, it has been coming and going on my bike. I pulled the tank and checked the connection to the map sensor and the hoses and thought it was good, but it came back on the other day. Since you checked the hoses already I would replace the map sensor and see if that fixes it.

 

I had exactly same problem before. 2 FI blinks.

You need to clean the vaccuum hoses that connected to MAP sensor.

Thank you all so much for the advice! Turned out one of the hoses had about a 1 inch line cracked only noticeable when I removed it completely to inspect. She's purring like a kitten now. Once again thank you all so much.
