Default new member with a problem...........

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and Hondas and would like some help. I purchased a CBR1000F 1987 which needed heaps of work to get it on the road but I'm gettin there. The problem it has an oil leak which is coming from a hole in the head, no idea what the hole is for but I don't think oil should be coming out of it!!!
I have attached a couple of pics.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Robbie

Thank, I'm from Taupo, New Zealand and if that is your bike in that picture , well mine is nothing like that. It has lots of bit missing and hasn't been looked after and dropped a few times but the look of it.
Cheers

I have two workshop manuals and there is no mention of these holes or what they are for.
How do I fined the manuals on this site?
Cheers,
Kiwi

I'm not exactly sure what that hole is doing there. I'm pretty tired, though....lol.

Workshop manuals are located in the subsection titled "workshop manuals" on the main hurricane board... up top.
Click on shadows post in there and click the links to download it.

If you can't find them
Workshop Manuals:
http://blackbears.ru/index_en.php?get=manual 600f-1000f 87-96
http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp
http://www.repairmanualclub.com/motomanuals/ IF IT'S WORKING !

basic repairs - beginners to advanced plus manual links
http://www.dansmc.com/mc_repaircourse.htm

Page 107 of the PDF manual shows it, but no specifics - could be an engine mounting point, but I don't think so..............
Does the hole have a thread in it ?
Can't really see on your pic.
Doesn't look like my engine but I have a 90 so may be some differences.........

Haynes and factory manuals can also be found here- http://cid-f661f6844a8cd45e.skydrive...e.aspx/.Public No offense to Shadow, but they're probably easier to find at this link and also likely will download faster.
