Default '02 F4i not turning over

I am having troubles getting my 02 F4i to start. When I hit the ignition switch nothing happens. Everything else on the bike seems to be operating normally. When I turn the bike on and flip the switch to run, I hear all the relays click, I hear the fuel pump prime, and the speedo does it normal startup routine. This being the case I don't think the problem is a battery. I do notice that when I do hit the ignition switch that all power to my headlights is cut. I can't recall if this is normal. I have checked all fuses and they are good to go. I have also made sure that the bike is in neutral. I have done my best to think of all of the no brainer issues that cause a bike not to start but none of them seem to be the culprit. Can anyone think of any other issues it might be no matter how dumb/simple they might be. It has been a while since I have tried to troubleshoot an issue like this and I am pulling a blank.

to be on the safe side of ruling out a battery you can jump it to a non running car, or try starting it with a battery charger plugged in.
it could be a faulty kickstand switch, not sure if there is a neutral sensor. you tried starting it with the clutch pulled in too?

With a battery that is under 12v eveything will still power up, it will try to crank and everything will cut off. My suggestion is to get a multimeter and check the battery to ensure its at 12v.

RudyGT has it right, try it clutch in, kick stand up. id even give push starting it a try (if you havent already).

Just a thought, but tilt sensor?

I have the tilt sensor bypassed so I don't think it can be that. I also just noticed that the startup on the dash is not completely normal. When I first turn the key to on, everything starts up normally like I said before with the exception of the dash. The dash does not show any info until I hit the ignition switch and then it goes through its startup routine with the rpm needle moving the full range and the speed indicator doing its countdown to 0.

I am unable to obtain a trickle charger at the moment but can hooking it up to a NON-running car battery charge the bike battery in a manor that will not damage anything?
