Default New member exhaust questions

Hey guys. I currently have a Yamaha fz6 and just picked up a 2002 f4i with 900 miles. Yes, 900 miles. The bike is like brand new so I had to jump on it. When would I be able to get a next to new split seat again.. Any way on my Yamaha I have a Scorpion system that I love the deep tone of. Im looking for that deep tone on the Honda and I was something with a full carbon can. The Scorpion will be about $550 or the M4 will be about $350. I've never seen the m4 in person but from youtube its sounds like its a deeper tone like Scorpion or Tow Bro's. Not to knock anyone that has a Yoshi, lol. Its just not the higher pitched sound Im looking for. Any advise would be great before I make the purchase

Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your purchase! Only 900 mi is quite the find!

The Two Bros exhaust will be the loudest, quality product tho.

Exhaust choices range from rider to rider....some go for the look, some for looks...

I have a scorpion pipe on my F4i and I love the way it sounds. Loud, but not two bros or even worse D&D loud. I have a video clip in a previous thread of how it sounds. Sound quality is decent.

^^^

I have a D&D Pipe and it is NOT lout at all.... dunno why people think they are so loud. They are no louder then any other aftermarket exhaust.

Great sound though. Realy unique. Everybody and their mother have a yoshi exhaust.

Try to get your hands on a Devil
They are tough to find but they sound awesome.

PS: If the bike only has 900Mi on it.
Change all the fluids and check the date stamp on your tires, If they are old I would replace them.

Thanks for all the pointers guys. All the fluids are fresh but the tires may need to be swapped.

I am considering replacing my stock exhaust with the 8" Delkevic for the cagers. I have never heard the Delkevic in person but the price is right and I think it is pushing like 120db.
