Default Neutral & FI lights not working on gauges

hey everyone, this is hopefully not a dumb question. I've been through as many wiring diagrams as i can come up with and have searched all over the internet including as much as i could on this site. I just can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Two weeks ago i went off the road on my bike and hit abit of dirt bank/rock. It broke all the plastic and mounting brackets on the front and scratched the hell out of the sides. Otherwise not bad shape. I have rewired everything that is necessary (as far as i know) and have got it to the point where it starts and runs as it did before the accident (except i have jumpered the Bank Angle sensor and the kill switch as it wasnt working). My problem is that i can't figure out why the neutral light and the FI light never show anymore. I know 100% that i'm in neutral but it won't light up on the gauges. The side stand switch works as when i put it in gear with it down the bike turns off and the wire that is going to the neutral switch is absolutely fine. I'm at a loss as to what more i could play with to get it figured out. The only thing that i have not tried yet is the clutch diode in the fuse box. It may be my problem for the neutral light but would it effect the FI light as well? Also, does anyone know a solid way of checking the diode and the wires coming to it?

If it's needed, the bike is a 2002 CBR600 F4i.

Here's some pics as i know it's going to come up...

To check a diode, use a multimeter with either a dedicated diode measurement or continuity. It should conduct in one direction, but not the other. Theway to check if the LED is busted on the gauges would be to ground the wire that is for the FI light coming into the harness. If you look at page460 of the service manual, you should be ableto figure out which wire that is.

thanks, page 460 has been printed out and blown up onto a huge piece of paper. I've been living of it for a couple of weeks now. Thanks for the info.
