Need a new battery... recommendations?

RE: Need a new battery... recommendations?
Batteries I would just buy local. Unless you can find a gel cell that will fit, I'd just stick with the OEM Yuasa. I went to Cycle Gear and they had their brand (Dura something) or the Yuasa which is the OEM brand, but they had to order it cuz they were out of stock. I had them order me a Yuasa.... that's what I had and it serves me without any failures for 80,000 miles, so I figured it can't be that bad, lol. Haven't had any problems with the new one!
Oh yea I got mine on sale too... it was originally I think $114 or something, and I ended up paying $68

And yes, gel cell batteries kick ***! They can take alot more abuse than regular lead acid batteries. I forget who makes them for motorcycles... I know I've seen them. Can't remember if it was Optima or another brand gel cell

I purchased the same battery from devlzluv's recommendation. They are local to me in the Bay Area, CA so I dropped by and picked it up. Works great for me. www.dvoltbatteries.com
