Need help in Replacing my Ignition.

Default Need help in Replacing my Ignition.

Guys,
I have nice yellow CBR 2002 F4i and riding it for two years. Few days back one of an as@$#$%%^ try to steal my bike thereby damaging the Ignition.Now I need to replace the Ignition. I dont want to change my Gas tank keys. I dont have tools and I am not that good with it either. I need help in replacing my Ignition. I can pay resonabily. I live in Concord CA.

There is a special tool to replace your ignition that cant be bought from my understanding. A dealership can do it for you between 35-80 dollars anything above that is a rip off. Here in md one shop told me 200.00 with labor and all and the other told me 50-75 and the labor is about an hour which was included. I tried doint it my self and gave up since i could never get an allen rich to fit the hole. or you can just jerry rigg it and prop it up till you can find someone to help you. As in a person at one of the bike shops that will do the work for you on the side. Thats how i got mine done.

take it to a dealer, to kill the inevitable flaming quick, nobody on this forum is going to tell you hot to pull the ignition because it is "questionable"
