I have the frame sliders I installed a couple years ago. Had a spill and thanks to these sliders I was able to continue the trip and many miles afterwards. Now I'd like to replace the slider with a new one but can't remove the bolt. When I try turn it the bolt just continues to turn without ever coming out. Any suggestions?

 

Can the bolt thread back in and tighten?

 

Cut the slider closer in and grab the protruding bolt with a vise grips and pull while twisting out

Careful - watch the fairing

 

Yin Yang - no, I tried tightening it to no avail. It simply just keeps turning.

Sprock - I'll give that a shot...hopefully today or tomorrow.
