Need help, not starting
How's it going everybody first post here.
My problem is the bike will when the key is on and the switch is on run the fuel pump will run, but when you hit the start button the bike will not run.
Here's what I've done, new battery, changed plugs, drained the tank and put fresh gas in.
Any other things i could check, I'm somewhat good with a wrench never worked on a bike before. I've done some research my problem is just finding stuff on the bike.
Bike is an 03 cbr 600 f4i Nice to meet everyone.

ok I checked the start fuse on the bike and the headlights never been removed as far as I've known, previous owner laid it down but it ran all last summer. when the key is in the ignition and turned to on all lights come on headlight stays on as does the red light on the cluster.
also it gets 10.8 volts when cranking at the battery

^the pump wont even prime if theyre not connected so thats not the problem. Pull one of the plugs, ground it out and start it and see if youve got spark. If you do then you can eliminate that. Any other info on when/how/why this started happening? was the bike running one day then all of a sudden it wouldnt start? Did something happen, were you working or changing anything on the bike?

Plugs have been pulled grounded and still seen a spark.
Bike was stored for winter with stabil in the gas tank. Personally think too much stabil in the tank. When I came to start it battery was dead wouldn't hold charge. The reason was no charger on it. So after buying and installing new battery the bike ran for about 5 to 10 minutes then died and now it won't start just the occasional sputter then die.

welll if youve got spark and youre getting air that only leaves fuel since you havent messed with the timing or engine or anything. A little extra fuel stabilizer wont mess anything up, itd have to be a significant amount and itd be more likely detonate your motor than just cause it to not start though.
