Default Need a consensus on spark plug replacement frequency for your F4i

My regular mechanic has always tried to encourage me to change out my spark plugs every year. He said that the spark plugs foul quickly in the F4i, so an annual change out is necessary. I really don't buy that and was just wondering how often the longtime F4i owners change out their spark plugs. My mechanic is a good guy and he has never ripped me off. I just think he is being **** and besides i can do the spark plug change myself. Just curious...

Use OEM plugs. Change them every 16,000 miles per OEM specs. Your mechanic is full of you know what.

I follow the oem service intervals. You can always take them out and then decide if you want to replace them or not

Follow Honda's maintenance schedule when it comes to spark plugs. Personally I check them every 10k with a volt meter to ascertain if they are still good. Plenty of videos on youtube to tell you how to do this.
