I dumped my yellow 2002 f4i this morning, i have scratches on my left fairing, and cracked my front fairing, and windscreen....I have 550 dollars to fix, but i cant find anything.....I found a set for 520$ but it is all black and some flames, that means i would have to paint my gas tank, does anyone kno how much that will cost....i just want to fix the bike back to new...please help....

sorry to hear
getting your tank painted will put you in the ball park of 200 or so depending if you sandblast it and prime and prep it yourself

You're gonna be a little hard pressed to repair it well for that little bit of money. Cost me around $1100 to do similar repairs, and I did all the work myself except painting.

First, look around e-bay for a front fairing if you can't fix what you've got. New, this part costs more than $500. The going used price seems to be $200 to $250, depending on condition. Depending on how much damage on the side fairings, you can either repair what you've got or buy used on e-bay. Lots of choices on e-bay right now.

You can paint it yourself if you're patient, but the results won't be as good as having a professional do it. Look around and you may be able to find someone to paint it for $200 to $300.

If you re-decal it, you'll need another $100 or so. The OEM decals are way better than the aftermarket crap and probably worth it if you care much about looks.

Sorry about the down. Happens to the best of us, sooner or later.

if you can still ride it and dont have to get it fixed right away i say take your time and find the parts on ebay it will save you alot of money. when i needed new plastics i searched ebay everyday and i finally found a complete set with the tank for 600 and they were in perfect shape.
