My wife stole my bike!!!!! (only if I lower it for her)

Lowering a bike WILL affect the geometry. It WILL change how the bike handles. Even if you lower both the front and rear, you will loose not only ground clearance but suspension clearance.
The distance between the fairing and the front fender comes into play. Its not hard to bottom out, or come close to bottoming out a stock CBR600F's suspension. Even with my upgraded forks on my racebike (racetech springs & valves set to my weight), I still use 85-90% of my travel in braking for corners.
A lowered bike looks sharp when done right but will never handle as well as the stock height bike.

Priced it out with Canada post expedited parcel. $25cdn shipping.
I can take pics when I'm home, but its not much to look at..
Looks like this:
Installing the springs is a little involved.. You need to cut the spacer tube to the right size depending on the drop your looking for. The springs are pretty stiff but help prevent bottoming out your front end and are really required to lower properly.

I lowered my F4i 1" in the front and rear with no ill handling effects at all. Since then I've done some track events and lots of twisties, honestly there is no difference in handling. Just make sure that you lower the front the same amount as the rear and you'll be fine.

Mine was lowered by PO, and I appreciate that. I'm not a tall dude (5'3"). I like to hit the weights pretty hard so I tip the scale at 185lbs. Yeah, you should see me flex when I get down to 170-175lbs...it's awesome.
But I digress,
I think this bike handles well. I rode an FZ and it feels about the same. There is some diference but not enough to matter. Y'all may not even notice. But she WILL notice how it feels so much better to be able to touch both feet to the pavement!

My rear is raised on my track bike (f4i), rearsets are on riser plates back 1" and up 1.5". I'm still getting the pegs pretty darn close to the ground and hitting my toe more then I'd like. I guess thats where a more modern chassis comes into play compared to the F4i. If my bike was lowered, I'd be grinding hard bits everywhere.
