Black frame? 06 has silver which is rare supposedly cool white fairing

 

01-03 have black frame. I dont know about rare, pretty sure all the models were that way. Same with the silver on the late models to differentiate between the RR.

looks damn good, i just finished ratle canning some of my bike too. It's actually quite easy to get a pretty good finish with some practice and a lot of patience. Not sure why so many people knock it so much.

 

Thanks bro. I hear you. I just think that that effort needed to put in to even try to compare a can to a gun is astronomical. Really they are no comparison as far as the finished product. Thats not to say you cannot achieve something pretty decent though. Theres just so many more factors you can control when you are mixing and spraying your own paint vs. using a pre filled can. But Ill be damned if I drop a grand on a new paint job to get to know my bike. Ill wait untill I have a thousand miles under her before I consider a professional job. Short of showing her off at a bike show, no one would even notice its rattled unless you were a couple feet away or less. Im ok with that. With enough prep and patience you can make anything look good.

Haha yeah, I havent finished cutting and buffing the side fairings, not sure if I want to at this point lol. But I'll throw some pics up in a new thread tomorrow since I haven't made one for my bike yet.

Also I was wondering in your sig it says "Custom Yoshi RS-3 Stainless Carbon wrapped shorty slip-on" Did you wrap it yourself too?
