Default winter transformation

Hello everyone, Ive been a lerker here for awhile now trying to gain as much info on my 1992 CBR 600 F2 and motorcycles on general. This is my first bike, I bought in June of '08, and have been hooked ever since. The previous owner had layed it down on the left side so the farings were cracked and paint was all scraped. He tried to rapair it but didnt do such a good job, covered cracks with touch up paint. So ive sanded down the decals and filled in the cracks with plastic filler. Also ive glued and molded the body pieces together to form 3 units, like that of the racing units. So far fitment has been great. Also got a list of parts that are getting delivered with in the next week so I can get this bike running and looking like it should. Hopefully I can get the primer on by this weekend. Here is a list of parts that are going on.
-Sargent seat
-Comp Werks F.E
-Zero Gravity DB Screen Dark Smoke
-'97 F3 rear shock with resivior
-Galfer Front & rear pads
-Galfer Red braided brake lines F&R
-Stealth 520 Convertion -1 +2 w/ DID chain
-Dyno Jet stage 1 jet kit
Let me know what you think. Here are a few pics fo the bike when i got it, and a few progress pics. Bike will be gloss black with red graphics and flat black and red accents.

how did you sand off the turn signals on the upper? I would like to do that but am scared of breaking the upper and I definately don't want to buy another one because the prices are outrageous.

i used a dremal with a cut off wheel at low rpms. then used a orbital sander with 120 grit paper to smooth out the lines. i layed fiberglass sheet on the backside to create a pocket and then filled in the hole with a plastic body filler. then used the 120 grit sander to smooth everything out.

heres an update to my project that was supposed to be done by now...but you all know how it goes. Finally got the body panels painted the other day. Today I got the graphics on, and multiple layers of clear coat. All thats left is to wet sand the clear and then buff them. Im probably gonna get flammed for doing a black bike, but oh well, ive always like the black/ red combo look. I just hope it starts, lol!

thanks, i picked up an electric trunk kit so i can remove the seat with out having to take off sides and rear section. Plus having storage space on a bike is worth its weight in gold imo. its the same one targa sells, i just bought it directly from the company that makes it through www.flashalert.com I also picked up there integrater taillight kit that you wire into your stock lights. easy install and great company to deal with.
