Default My new Z1000

Sold the F4i and picked this guy up today. Hopefully i'll still be welcome around here!

03' kawi z1000 10k miles

It's got a bored and detuned zx9 motor and its wicked fast! One reason why i got it was because of the seating position and dirt bike handle bars, which makes it WAYYY more comfy than the F4i.

Looks good but definitely needs the belly pan. I was looking at the 2nd gen version of these but opted to stick with the F4i. I just picked up $400 74 cb750 instead that I'm gonna chop up for a more relaxed ride.

The Z definitely lacks the wind protection the F4i provided at high speeds. I didn't buy this thing for highway riding, just cruisin' around town and the tall windscreens are UGLY on these things.

Hell yeah a belly pan would look great.. that'll be number one on the list of future mods.

A cb750 would be a fun project make sure to post some pics!

Love the new bike man, looks very clean. I've always liked the Z1000's, they look sick, and have the neutral seating position ergos, so they're comfy too!
