Can you please tell where did you get that info (the bike will switch off at 240 deg F?). I still haven't decided to try to let it over 230 and see if my switch will do the job and start the fan... I want to change the coolant first.

ok, i went looking for it and now cant find it. it was quite a while ago when i read that. but either way, if you bike is getting close to 240, thats not good.

When I had my F4i I had the temp go up to 255 in traffic before all the lights on the dash lit up and then the bike shut off.I looked at the radiator and noticed a rock had lodged itself on the fan removed it and went on my way.
