Best bang for your buck is to change the sprockets.

PCIII doesn't really add more power to a stock bike, just changes the powerband a little. Sprockets will give you the best change in the 1/4mi.

Screw the mods - go PRACTICE. Experience > bike. Learning how to launch properly and shift quickly will make you faster than insignificant bike mods.

The way you phrased the original question it sounded like you were just asking about "go-fast" mods. Windscreens, exhausts, fender eliminators, flushmounts, hand levers, paint jobs, swingarm conversions, ect... are just a few of the ones people perform.
Look through the sticky on top of this section to get some idea

There are TONS of ways to modify a bike, just depends on what you want to do.

You sound like you want a bike to go faster with minimal cost, which doesn't happen. Speed = $$.

But, in my opinion, you also sound like a squid who isn't interested in people's actual advice. So go buy a 1000cc bike and try not to break it...
