Perfect! That pic is a huge help. I'll start filling it up till the fuel hits the bottom of that band.

Thanks again.

I actually sit on my bike and keep it level so I can get more in. I average about 41mpg. I weigh 285 in street clothes, add another 15 for gear.
I keep her under 6k and run 87 octane from costco or sams most the time. Only mod is a yosi slip on. I'm thinking of regearing for better gas mileage.

Try putting in a different sprocket and watch your mileage to to crap.
LOL! No doubt. Was getting at the worst 43mpg, changed to the -1, +1 and it dropped to around 36mpg (with a calibrated speedo-healer) changed it back to stock in front and left the +1 in the back and it now gets between 40 and 42. Sure was fun with the -1, +1 though!!

I have a quick question about the reserve lights...didnt search sorry.

Mine will all come on, and then one will flash, and then the next down the line until all are flashing. Will they then begin to disappear one by one? I've been a wuss, and when they all start blinking I fill up the tank. I've been getting about 150miles per tank when all the lights are flashing.

Would be nice to know, then I'll be getting over 150 miles per tank.

Thanks-

Gas milage goes to crap because yhou geare it for torque not speed. If you go larger in the front and smaller in the back you lose the get up and go but gain more turns at the wheel per cycle of the engine.
I assume the concept is the same on motorcycles as it is with bicycle gearing.
When you are riding up hill or want to do wheelies you gear down, when you want to cruise along with a minimal cadence you gear up. I'll gladly lose the ability to wheelie to gain gas milage seeings how I ride and don't wheelie.

I'm curious as to how the PCIII effects mileage, don't think I've ever seen anyone say anything about it. Also, between a Dynojet map and custom tune.
