Lowering questions
Hey
I just picked up a 2001 cbr last weekend.
Im a bit on the shorter side so i cant sit flat footed. I only need 3/4 of an inch to get most of both my heels down.
Now I have no problem riding it everyday the way it sits now but when i go 2 up i would like to at least have most of both feet down.
I have been searching the fourm for a few hours and am more confused on the best way to get it a little lower than when i started.
There are so many different views about lowering links and shaving the seat and adjusting the suspension, that i cant seem to find one that is the best.
Any help you guys could give would be amazing.
Thanks
John

When your 2 up the extra weight will make the bike sit lower anyways, and allow your feet to touch flat-footed. As for solo riding most people I know say you should stay up on the ***** of your feet anyways so I don't think you need to lower your bike at all.
But if you must just pick up a lowering link for the rear shock. And drop your triple clamp down lower on your fork tubes in the front.
