Default Lowering questions

Hey
I just picked up a 2001 cbr last weekend.
Im a bit on the shorter side so i cant sit flat footed. I only need 3/4 of an inch to get most of both my heels down.
Now I have no problem riding it everyday the way it sits now but when i go 2 up i would like to at least have most of both feet down.

I have been searching the fourm for a few hours and am more confused on the best way to get it a little lower than when i started.

There are so many different views about lowering links and shaving the seat and adjusting the suspension, that i cant seem to find one that is the best.

Any help you guys could give would be amazing.
Thanks
John

When your 2 up the extra weight will make the bike sit lower anyways, and allow your feet to touch flat-footed. As for solo riding most people I know say you should stay up on the ***** of your feet anyways so I don't think you need to lower your bike at all.

But if you must just pick up a lowering link for the rear shock. And drop your triple clamp down lower on your fork tubes in the front.

Didnt think about the fact of more weight. lol
Solo riding i dont care about im fine with that i was just worried about 2 up but makes sence that there would be more weight and it would sit lower.
Thanks

I just purchased a 2001 in January. It was lowered 1 inch by the previous owner for a lady. They installed some kind of lowering link for the f4i rear. Then they lowered the front end by loosening the bolts on the forks and slid the fork tubes up.
