Need Help... LOWERING QUESTIONS
Anyone lower their bike? i need a little help. Im droping it 2", should i cut the kickstand? buy a shorter one? if i cut it- its a tapered shaft, where should i cut it?
Did lowering help or hinder handling? any notice in the corners? Is it easier or harder to get the front up on a lowered bike?
Thanks guys, i really need advice here...[sm=headbang.gif]

RE: Need Help... LOWERING QUESTIONS
A new stand is easier, but if you have a welder you can cut it just below the scraper and where the spring attaches, just cut out about an inch or so. Weld it back together, grind and re paint. Lowering is going to hinder handling slightly, definatly harder to bring up the front end.

RE: Need Help... LOWERING QUESTIONS
When mine was lowered and stretched I could corner pretty well. I had no problem passing stock bikes around corners. I did remove it though because I like the way it looks not lowered or stretched. I do have a short kick stand, lowering links, and a stretch kit for sale if interested.
