Default Lowering the footpegs

First I don't have 200+ dollars for new adjustable rear sets and I want to lower my footpegs, not raise them.

I wanted to know if anyone has used the Buell footpegs from the CR1125 (I think) on their F4I to lower the footpegs. Do they just bolt on or do you have to modify them. Does it create any problems with the exhaust or shifter.

Reason I am asking is last year I bought some lowering peg blocks for my VFR and it lowered them 1 inch and moved them back one inch. Makes for a much more comfty ride. Since I don't drag my pegs on the CBR I thought I would do the same but I can't seem to find the guy that I ordered the peg blocks from. All I remember is his name was Larry and he lives in CA.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Tom
