Default Low beam...should both lights be on?

When I have my hi-beam on both lights (left and right) light up. When I have my low-beam on only the left lights up. I replaced the bulb, so I know it works. Are they both supposed to light up?

Only the one side lights up when your low beams are on. This is totally normal. I occasionally get people saying you know one of your lights are burned out when riding with the low beams on/starting it up. Hehe >.< It is just one of those things you are going to have to learn to live with.

Awesome! I was fearing I'd need to dig through some wiring.

It has got to be the dumbest thing Honda has done to these bikes.

I hate it.

Yea I can see your angle with just one light being on however I can live with it no problem especially there being the availability of brighter lights out there on the market. Personally I think one of the dumbest things Honda has done to these bikes is never fully ever being able to fix the whole CCT thing. Sure they have came out with newer updated CCT's however the problem still remains. I must say that is one that that really does put me in awe a little bit honestly....especially with the kind of wonderful reputation Honda has developed over the years for craftsmanship.....^^

I remember some similar year R6's having the same function, which I always thought was odd. I always ride with high beams on in the day and try to avoid riding at night so I don't mind too much.
