Default Lost the Rear Driving Lights

Hi all,

I just installed a used undertail from ebay (I won't ever buy a used aftermarket body part egain, ever!) and once everything was said and done, the rear driving lights are not coming up at all, while the front do.

All of the wires look good, and nothing has been cut or spliced. I ordered the service manual, and will attempt to fix it once I get it, but I was wondering if you guys have seen this type of issue before?

Are you talking about the turn signals, or the brake running light?

The turn signals in the rear only light up with the signals, they don't stay on as a running light like the front turn signals. If your brake light running light is out, that is a problem and you should fix it

I was talking about the brake running light

I ended up killing the battery while installing the undertail and testing the lights, so I pulled it out, recharged it and replace both brake lights; and VOILA!

I am not sure if the issue was due to the weak battery charge, of if something gets reset when the battery gets disconnected. I am not ruling out that it was a bulb issue, but I find it hard to beleive that both bulbs went out while during the undertail

Anything is possible though

I used a 12V tester light, and the rear wires had nothing on it (ground or positive), but the front ones did had power; I was seriously clueless on this one...

Glad it is now working (knock on wood)
