So I recently had my chain fall off mid ride so I changed the chain and sprockets because the old ones from previous owner were pretty much gone. And now I’m having trouble to where the chain is hitting the clutch shifter/ rear foot stand, any help?
I tried adjusting chain slack and axle nuts, no luck.
Your shift arm must be bent. That must be the reason your chain snapped mid ride. My guess is the chain was rubbing on that shifter. Have you laid the bike down recently? Maybe even while standing still? In either case a replacement shifter is easy to find and not that expensive.
Edit: or are you certain the rear tire is straight? When you installed the new chain.. Did you EVENLY align the rear wheel with those tensioners located on the axle bolt in the rear of the swingarm?

tire is straight and maybe when I first got it it fell standing still however I’m thinking of buying a whole new bracket for the rear stand/shifter that protrudes out instead of having the shift so close to the chain.
