Riding like that eventually something like this accident comes to bite you in the ****...maybe at 43 I'm playing hindsight is 20/20 but I would have hoped say that I would have not ridden like that in my younger think I gonna live forever days.

It's not possible to ride the same. You can do things when alone that you can't do 2up. And knowing this, you should ride differently. Not only from a technique perspective but your defensive tactics aren't the same.

But I suppose that also depends on knowing your passenger too. I've found that each passenger is different and I have to account for that. Some are more transparent than others.
