Default leaking oil from cctl

so i changed my cctl yesterday and today i noticed a few drops of oil underneath my bike after i rode i put a new gasket on when i changed it and the old one was all the way off. i read somewhere else on here i cant find it now that someone was having a problem with it leaking out of the nut on the end. i put the washer back on so if it leaking out of there i was just going to put some rtv sealant around that nut anyone know if that will work?

I never read that thread, but im interested now. I put a new factory cctl and gasket on a while ago and the whole thing is nasty coverd in oil/dirt crud now. I know I cleaned all the old gasket off and torqued correctly.
