At least you've got a good attitude, man.
But yeah... I've seen decent paint guys have a hell of a time color matching and blending, even with the "same" paint code. It is what it is. Fading has a lot to do with it, too, and reds are a pain. My old civic Si started as Rio Red and after 20yrs was Rio Orangish Pink.
