Kickstand spring not working???
Hey gang,
I picked up my F4i with this issue and it hasn't really bothered me until lately. Anyhow, when I want to put the kickstand down or up, I need to push it all the way. I guess the spring is loose or something? Can anyone tell me whats wrong? My neighbors GSXR kickstand will snap down or snap up with just a slight push, but I need to physically push it all the way down and all the way up. Is this supposed to happen?

if it still holds the kickstand up, the spring is still there, but its just probably loose from being put back up and down all the time, i have an 01 f4i and i barely have to kick it down or up, you just prob need to get a new spring, shouldn't be too much, you could prob pick one up and a hardware store for cheap, just check out your spring, if the coils dont touch then its loose, so check it out and re post to let us know
