when shifting into first geat does it kinda make a loud sound but all my other gears dont. please get back to me

The sound is normal. It has to do with the wet clutch I believe. This has been posted before. The loud clunk when shifting into first is nothing to be concerned with.

Sorry to state the obvious, but you have your kick stand up when you are trying to start it in gear right?....

Yes kick standhas to be up when putting in gear or the bike will shut off. I never tried starting it in gear with the kick stand down but I would assume it wont start for the same safety reason.

I am pretty sure he is just asking about the clunk and not the kickstand cutoff. Anyway, if it clunks a lot or yanks forward when you put it in first, you need to adjust your clutch. Some clunk is typical and is usually worse when the bike isn't up to temp.

I have no clunk or moving forward when I shift into first. Although my 250 had a loud clunk and would move a bit forward.

Its normal
