So my integrated tail brake lights quit working. the signals and tail light up just fine its just the brake light that doesn't work. took it aprt to find that this white piece fell off. So I attempted to solder it back into place, but apparently didnt solder it in the right location cuz the brake light still doesn't work. So I'm looking for a little help on determining where I need to solder it in place.

 

Did it come off on both sides? You could try putting 12v on the appropriate lead for the brake light and then soldering a wire to the white thing and trying it on different points until it works...Whatever it was soldered to should show some evidence of having broke off.

If I have time to get to my garage this week, I'll open mine up and take a picture and probably go ahead and silicone those things in place just to be safe.

 

Any chance you could contact the company that produced it & getting some tech help or schematic?

 

Okay so I put my stock tail back on so I'd have a brake light for the time being and the brake light still doesnt light up just the tail light/running light. :/

 

Turns out the rear brake switch was stuck on. so everything is good to go now.
