Default insall on rear sets

I'm putting on some used Vortex rear sets hear are my problems

1- The shifter linkage seam sort. I have the thing barley treaded in to get it to were I don't need to touch my toes to my knees on a up shift

2- Brake line is pulled as tight as you can pull it

3- Blrake line hits sub frame (looks like if I turn the banjo it will work but then I have to go get new washers )

4- where the cylinder links to the sets couldn't be any closer to hitting the clamps that keep the brake line out of the tire

any input would be appreciated

pix?

1. how much did you get in on each side already? are you still using the stock linkage? the one with the set should be longer.
2. my brake line is tighter...
3. just loosen a bit and turn...no need for new washers. just make sure press the lever and don't let go as you do this so that pressure will force air out. you get little seepage but that's ok. then tighten bolt then let go of lever.
4. you can add some washers to get the clearance you need. sounds like it didn't come with any spacers, which it should.

Thanks for you input tahoe. Turned the banjo and put on a new chain and the brake lines has room to spare now both against the sub frame and on length
