I sure you get them all the time, but is this a good deal?

It is a ID bike. I don't have pics, but it's red and black. Originally I offered $3,000.00 for it, which I feel is more than fair for his bike as she sits, I told him that if he wants to return the bike to a more stock like condition he is free to do so and sell the extras for more money and I'd give him $2,000.00 depending what was on it. He seemed really offend and swears it's still worth $4,000.00 for it.
He's been trying to sell his bike for a month and hasn't reconsidered his asking price. I would love to give the bike a new home but can't justify the extra money for it.

There are much better deals out there I would walk away from this one, even in the middle of summer you can find a better deal then this on a clean title bike. Extras don't add much if any value to the bike. Walk away you will find a less abused bike for 3,500.
A year ago before the economy took a dump I bought a 2001 f4i with 30k miles in great shape for 2900 cash with a clean and clear title. You can find a much better deal then the one he is offering.
