I felt the same way after sitting on some R6's, it felt like the entire weight of the bike was in the gas tank. It sort of felt like my roomates SV650 but a bit bigger, SV1k maybe? dunno.

the first time i got on the f4i i thought its huge. now, two month later, i wouldn't mind if
it was a tad bigger (a wider tank would be nice imho)

my friend had a liter bike and a 750 and he told me it was easier to flat foot than his previous 600s. I wouldn't know because I never been on one yet.

I honestly think that our bike is still generally pretty light. When I hang off the bike I feel like it's a toy. Even the older 600rrs are only a little bit lighter and it wasn't until '07 that there was a big difference. What looks big to me are the fairings and the tank. They look even bigger when the bikes get repainted in a single color.

Still, a lot of the latest literbikes are super light and are also a lot of times more comfortable than the previous generation.

Comparing my F4i to an '07 GSX-r 1000, and an '07 600rr, I feel like ours sits in between as far as how light it feels on the street. But with a decent setup and a little lift in the back, it feels just about as good at the '07 RR.
