... how big our f4i's are.

I had a bit of a break in between jobs today and decided to stop at the Tucson Ride Now, boy was that a mistake.

I was walking around the first spot I saw sportbikes at and noticed this smaller looking red/black/orange bike and assumed it was a CBR250 or something because it seemed little sitting next to the '06 F4i.
So I sat on it and instantly fell in love with the feel and size (I'm only 5'8 125lbs wet), I got up to get a better look at the bike itself and see what the price was; much to my surprise, it was an '09 CBR1000rr Repsol!!!

If anybody is looking to buy a black and yellow 2002 CBR600F4i, let me know. haha... seriously

I never looked too much at liter bikes because I figured I was too small and would barely be able to tip toe but I was very wrong.

I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

Oh, and just for the record, I don't want/never had wanted a liter bike (or any sportbike for that matter) so it would make me cooler by racing everybody on the street, I have never raced anybody thus far. I just felt very comfortable on it and loved the looks for ME, not just so people would look at me and get more attention.

It's not that the F4i is big, it's just that sport bikes are getting sleeker and smaller. Compare the F4i to a comparable big bike of the year, like a ZX-12 or a Honda XX and you'll see that it's not that big :)

but i can't imagine not knowing what it was before you sat on it -- i think they're fairly distinctive (the repsol particularly so).

I mean, I know what a repsol 1k is, there was just a black cbr250 right next to it so I was thinking "maybe they just make repsol graphics for the 250 as well".
There was a stretched huyabusa 2 over so they weren't all stock.

All I know is that I loved it more than the brand new 600rr's at the other end of the shop.

The really crazy thing is when you compare the wet weight of the F4i vs the new 1000RR's. Were not katana bad but were at least big boned.

If you know well how to drive the f4i when you go with these smaller bike it become a peice of cake!! its like a little toy you have !!

I sat on a friend's 07 zx-12r (I think?) and it was a freaking boat. If I sit on a new 1k I'll be in a loootttt of trouble...I know I'll want one instantly

It's all personal preference. I've sat on R6 after R6, and I HATE the weight distribution. I feel like all the weight is in the tank, and if I turn I'll tip over every time. But I rode a new VFR the other day, and it's a little bigger, but feels great. So do the older RR's.
