I have gotten a couple steals off CL in the last week. First I found a set of Dunlop Qualifiers for $50 with quite a bit of wear left on them. They were used for one track day and about 200 road miles, but you can hardly tell!











I also found a Corbin seat for $35 on Craigslist. I had to spend 2 hours in the pouring rain on the bike to get there and back with it. But it was well worth the money and effort! This seat is AMAZING and the photos do not do it justice, it is not worn at all and looks brand new. It is MUCH thicker, cushier and softer than the stock seat!















I will be leaving the bike alone for a while. Gonna be too busy to do any work over the next few weeks. I will be posting the How-To for the eBay Chinese HID kits tomorrow. if you are one of the people waiting for that, I promise it is coming!

:+1: Those things look fairly worn down the middle. Like someone has been cruising in a straight line. Not sure I would of paid $50. (IMO)

Either way, congrats on the new (to you) purchases. Thats a steal for a Corbin seat!

 

My *** get's comfortable just looking at the picture of the Corbin seat. Looks like I'll be investing in one ASAP.

 

Theres no way thats 200 miles on that rear tire.

 

The tires came from a rather round and older (low to mid 50's I'd say) guy. The rear is chicken stripped a bit, but I have no reason to think he lied. The track use is pretty obvious, it is hard to get tires to ball up like that on the street. Especially single compound tires... either way they are better than what I had and cheaper than the $250 I was looking at for a brand new set.

 

Ooh... That Corbin seat looks COMFY. Great find at $35. :0o
