I have the pipe on my '06 F4i right now, put almost 2k miles in so the sound is breaking in and I'm considering putting in the baffle I purchased for it.

It's MUCH louder than stock and honestly pretty loud in the low ranges up to 6k. Once past that range, I think all other aftermarket exhausts are louder (I ride in a group usually with various exhausts). The majority of the group riders like the exhaust note (deep tone).

For comparison sake (in terms of volume), it ranks right behind the standard two brothers and D&D pipes.

Here's the sound clip

I have a stock comparison video too in the same channel.

I believe only the 2006 model has an O2 sensor, lucky me... This is a mystery to me though because once I unscrewed the sensor from my stock pipe, I just zip-tied it to the subframe and let it hang. The FI light has never came on or anything so if it's those strange gremlins at work or whatever, I never had a problem not using an O2 sensor eliminator.

Default I am trying the Danmoto carbon GP

I hear mostly good about Danmoto, and especially the customer service.
I purchased the Carbon GP with Oxy sensor eliminator and a removable baffle. I Wanted to cover all bases, just in case! I did notice they had different costs through different links. Here is the Danmoto link I went through. CBR 600 F4i 2001-2006 Carbon GP [EX-00060] - $80.00

1 x CBR 600 F4i 2001-2006 Carbon GP (EX-00060) = $80.00
1 x Removeable Baffle (EX-00000) = $7.99
1 x Honda CBR 600 F4i 2001-2007 (EL-00015) = $6.99
------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: $94.98
EMS (Deliver Time: 6 - 15 Days Shipping to US (1 x 2,300.00g)): $42.30
Total: $137.28

Can't beat the price if it's a decent pipe. Not going to pay 300+ for a slip on muffler!

Wow they've dropped their prices again!! Nice! During the winter this same pipe was $115 or $125.

Depending on the danmoto site you end up on. I noticed some are $125 with free shipping. I saved only a couple of dollars on this site, but as many parts and work I am doing right now, all the dollars add up.
Layed my bike down just over 2 weeks ago at 55+ MPH on mountain roads at night. Lucky I was wearing all my armored gear! Broke right hand in 2 place, and dislocated teeth! With a full face helmet on! I am a true Helmet believer now! Scared my helmet up pretty good.

Wow glad you're okay, and yes there's a reason why wearing gear is good for the body. It's rather tough to think it when it's 90+ degrees out like it is here today and yesterday in DC. For going that fast, you came out alright.

I see you were using the "international" site for the pricing since yeah they're back to $125 but with free shipping isn't bad either considering 2 bros, etc are $300+ I've just been holding off on changing out the exhaust for whatever reason, I'm not sure. I love the sound of the Dan Moto too but maybe my concern is the whole O2 sensor, etc when I swap it out.

I think the price change has to do with their marketing approach. Right now if you go in their site, their advertising a free shipping promotion but they increased their prices by 40$ per exhaust (to make up for the shipping cost).

But anyway I got the danmoto go carbon fiber exhaust and it sounds great ! I compared it to my uncle's scorpion exhaust on his 06 636 Kawasaki and my exhaust was much louder and sounded much better

My Danmoto Carbon GP pipe has been on my bike for approx 900 miles or about 3 weeks. The pipe does not get hot where Carbon is located. I love the look and it does have the baffle. The sound is exactly what I wanted. Here is a link I just put up today with a video of it being fired up. Love the sound, it was a video made off my Droid RZR, It sounds much better in person!

I am currently trying to find a Level One Racing exhaust for my 02 F4i, but since they've been discontinued, I have had no luck finding a used one. I'm getting anxious to swap out my exhaust, so I've started looking at other options.

The Danmoto looks quite similar to the LOR exhaust. Can anyone who's had both/seen both chime in on if this is indeed just a cheaper knock off?

Thanks!
