Default Clutch Issues - Why is my bike still moving?

I have an '06 F4i and have been riding the bike for 5k miles. I just took the first leg of my trip from California to Alaska, and drove 2k miles on the way up.

After being in Anchorage for about 2 weeks, yesterday I turned on the bike and went to move it from the street to the garage so I wasn't going very fast. What I noticed was that when I was going about 10 mph and let the clutch out completely, the bike would slow down to 6 mph and stay there. Pulling in the clutch and letting it out again made no difference. Needless to say I wasn't applying any throttle at all (I was actually making sure it was turned all the way to 0).

When I'm parked the clutch works as expected. Start up the bike in neutral, switch into first with the clutch in, release the clutch, and the bike jerks forward and dies. The only different thing is that the bike stays at 2.5k rpm even with the clutch out completely while moving.

Someone suggested the bike may have been too cold, so I let it sit idling for 15 min and the problem still happened. I couldn't find anything pinching the throttle or clutch cables either.

Any ideas?

It has 100+ horsepower, it can probably climb hills at idle. Whats the problem?

yea some say that if you let your clutch all the way out the bike should die on you. mine however does not but it stutters like it will die so it isnt a smooth ride. i think because of my -1 front and im not that heavy.

I don't see anything wrong. If I kick off from a stop and release the clutch once the bike is moving I usually don't even need to apply any throttle it just idles itself down the road.

Clutch only is how I move mine around the garage/drive way.
The bike has plenty of power to move itself forward at idle in first gear.

What rpm is your bike at idle with it warmed up(about 174 degrees)? Should be about around 1300rpm or so. If not you can adjust it with the idle screw.

Yea I'm just being dumb about it. Everything is working fine. I'm not used to letting it cruise in first with the clutch engaged and it just felt odd to me. At one pint it was doing 20mph but I think it was just trying to warm up (idling high). Thanks for the help though.
