Default Danmoto exhaust: Like

I just swapped a Jardine aftermarket to a Danmoto GP Megaphone can and mid-pipe. I like it..the Jardine was SO big, like many of the aftermarket cans on the F4i. The Danmoto is much smaller looking and certainly lighter and lower. I won't do a you tube recording...those don't do justice to how it sounds. I'll say it is louder, but at speed it is perfect! You can hear your own bike, and I find it easy to know my RPMs now without taking my eyes out of the corner to check the tach...I can also tell by the sound when I am coming into the power band...it sort of 'honks' in an off key way until you come into the power, then it begans to sing sweetly, indeed!

I had no problems with the fitment. I like the price. Like the sound. Like the way it works and looks.

And getting ride of the large prominent hanging can exhaust...I think the bike looks less like a Peterbilt semi now....

That is quite an attractive can you have there I think it gives the bike a more refined look. Also, from what i can see your bike is very clean...great work!

Default direct shot..I'll get one of the whole bike sometime soon...

..I'll get some of the whole bike sometime soon.....hopefully a bunch of em at a track day this Saturday. Google ORP and watch some of the Oregon Raceway Park videos....What a hoot of a track, especially suited to CBR 600s with lots of turns and big elevation and blind corners... I like the bike without the mirrors and with my 'normal' windscreen that is blacked out...but track trim is not so handy on public roads.

Here's a pic showing that DanMoto GP megaphone exhaust with the whole bike. This is the pit area of Oregon Raceway Park from yesterday, where my 03 F4i did very well indeed. I'll put up a report on the Track sub-forum here.

I did see quite a few other Danmoto exhaust cans at this event....hopefully, all the other big name exhaust makers might be feeling the competition and perhaps price their stuff better, if they want to stay in business. They are certainly losing customers to this company.
