how the hell did i break to clip for my master link, again
i just changed both sprockets,no prob. but this cahin link is kickin my a$$. i have the clip type. i know the closed endgoes toward the direction of rotation. i just cant get the clip on, i broke the first one in half, the clip that is. then went to my honda dealer bought a new one and broke in half agin,WTF!!! i was so close to kickin my bike over cuz i wasted about 3 days of nice weather cause of this thing.
Anyone know an easy way of gettin the clip on?? im buyin 2 masters today so i can get the clip. hopefully ill be riding today, cuz its nice out right now

RE: how the hell did i break to clip for my master link, again
you have a chain press to line this crap up i assume. . . .ususally on these bike we use a rivet master link. . . .you also don' thave to break the chain in order to change the sprockets. . i did mine a couple weeks ago to replace some worn sprockets at 10k. . (they were 520 so they don't last that long)
