i bought a set like those that claimed they were f4i mirrors but no way in hell could i have fit them on the bike without making major modifications; like drilling holes thru the stay bracket.

Isnt that true for any integrated light mirrors since the F4i isnt designed for them...

Here is the mirror I installed. The wire originally runs out of the side of the stem so I drilled a hole thru the bottom of the mounting bracket.

you still need to drill a hole just through the upper cowl to get the wire inside the plastics.
