Default Good Mirrors

Hi I was hoping to change my stock mirrors with something a little better looking, I have a f2 94 so I have 2 bolts that hold my mirrors on. Do i need to use both bolts or are there many mirrors that are compatible? And does anyone know of a place where i might find some good mirrors, not too thrilled with ebays selection.

I had a pretty tough time finding any aftermarket parts for my F2 that I liked also. I just left my mirrors off and used some button-head allens and rubber washers to keep the fairings in place. Have you looked into bar-end mirrors?

I personally think all the bikes look better with mirror blockoffs. I have seen the bar end mirrors before. They dont look to bad but i just think it makes the bike look like it has ears, although stock mirrors look like feelers on a bug as well so.

The problem is you cannot just remove your mirrors, it is illegal. The bar end mirrors make it legal.

I know, i know, we all probably do not have a dedicated plate light and our rear turn signals are probably integrated so that are not a foot apart (the legal space they need to be apart), but i have never heard of people getting pulled over for that stuff, but i have had a friend get 2 tickets for not having mirrors.

You can on the other hand put mirror blockoffs on the bike and put one small round stick on mirror on the left side on the black plastic in front of the left handle bar.

When I moved to Florida I got pulled over the fist week I was hear for no mirros. I told the cop I rode in Mich. for 7 years w/o mirorrs. So what I did was make my own bar ends. I took an L shaped bracket and a small round mirorr . I took a sheet of metal and made it the shape of the mirorr then screwed the mirorr to the metal and the whole thing to the L bracket. panted it black and it works great. I really like it and it only cost me like $2 to make.

I wouldnt be able to ride well with bar end mirrors, i like to keep my throttle hand half way on the grip, half on the bar end, and i guess some of it is even beyond the bar end. I've tried riding full grip and it feels very weird to me...
