Ok I can't stand the stock mirrors, they keep loosening up and wobble too much, are there better aftermarket ones?

 

bar end...thry ThirdEye...I think that's what the company is called. It's a 3in convex mirror that goes right on the bar end.

 

Loosening up would be the bolts comeing out. Not solved with new mirrors. Why not use loctite on the bolts?

 

i could throw some loctite on there and see what happens.

 

I found with mine that genuine Honda ones are better than pattern replacements -it had one of each when I bought it. I found a Honda one cheap on ebay and replaced the copy, much better, greater range of adjustment and the head doesn't move about so much. The rubber gaiters are better quality too and cover the mounting properly. New ones are stupidly expensive though so a breaker has to be the way to go and you'll almost certainly have scratches at least in the casing. They polish out OK.

 

I have genuine HONDA ones and have personally tested them to 160mph and they didn't wobble that much!
