Default How easy is it to change the rear tire?

I'm going to be getting a new rear tire pretty soon so I'm wondering.
Taking it off should be dead simple, but is it difficult to get it back on and aligned properly?

Any tricks I should know?

Here is my easy trick...

Pull of the rear wheel...

Bring the rear wheel (with old tire) and the new tire to a shop

pay $15

bring wheel home and mount tire (make sure everything is properly alligned)

BAM!!! All done.

I would think that doing this by yourself isnt the best idea... 1) Strong bead 2) Balancing

im curious i read your post and it sounds to me that you want to know how hard is it to take of your rear wheel and after you've had the tire installed how hard it is to put it back on and make sure its aligned properly yourself... that's how it reads to me , not trying to mount the tire yourself

I asked my psychologist , she said.....It is easy to change the rear tire, but only if it wants to change.

Yes I'll get the shop to mount the new tire on the rim, I just want to know if there is anything I should know as far as reinstalling the wheel on my bike.
Shoulda been more clear

Make sure you chain is set with the correct amount of "play" in it.

I thought it was pretty easy.
Taking the rear off ws almost easier than the front.
If you have stands!

Be careful with your chain tensioner.
You should hope that the tire/rim is on straight now.
Count if your tensioners back out an equal number of turns.
If they are diffenent, you might should try to put them back that way.

Pretty straight forward process.
The owners manual explains enough.
Or go to Stephy G's for the "real" manual.
