ill flip the kill switch if the fan is on just to let it stop on its own, i know its not doing anything cept cooling the radiator since the coolant isnt flowing.

I was always curious when to use the killswitch, like what type of emergency would you use the killswitch for? If the key is stuck on, and your throttle is stuck? lol

^^There are many uses for it, for example if you get pinned underneath and the throttle gets stuck you want to quickly cut it off before chain snaps yer leg off .. there are many other situations for its use. the reason some msf teach to use it is so in an emergency you don't forget to use it but it's real use is for emergency. do it the way you feel comfortable, no wrong or right way imo but as stated I do know peeps who have forgotten key which they would not have if they didn't have habit of turning bike off with run/stop switch.
