Hotbodies Undertail Plate Mounting

Hotbodies Undertail Plate Mounting
Hey guys,
I just mocked up my unpainted hotbodies undertail to my 2005 F4i last night and I must say the thing looks great! I am just having a little trouble with deciding on how I want to mount the license plate. Could anyone post some pictures of what they have done with theirs? I have searched everywhere and I could not find anything that seemed to show a good way other than mount it on the swingarm. I do not want to mount it on the swing arm and I do not want to mount it deep in the back of the undertail. It seems to me that they placed the lock directly where the plate should have gone. I have access to a full machine shop if needed so I can make some decenct brackets but I would like your opinions and suggestions first. The brackets that come with the undertail kit are horrendous, they are just poorly cut pieces of plastic.
Thanks!

Mine is the yellow one about 3/4 of the way down. I used a pair of 1" L brackets. It may be too deep for your taste though since you did say you didn't want to put it too far in. Line lines up with the passengers pegs.
