Default hotbodies front flush mounts

i've seen alot of people talking about their new front signals. i've purchased new flush mounts for my 02 f4i, i'd already started prepping the bike before they came, but now it's in the shop for some mods.... but anyway my question is this, everyone talks about removing the front fairing, i loosened mine and undid the top plastic screw on my inner fender and was able to remove the factory signal, removed the air duct cover to unplug the wiring. i believe i'll be able to install the new one without any more removing of parts, am i dissillusioned, or is everyone else just more thorough than myself????

Hey I'm in the exact same boat. except my turn signals are on back order. [:@] anyway, it took me about 10 minutes to get mine ready to put on. and it shouldnt be much longer to finish it up. although I have a 05 600rr and I didnt have to take the ducts off. its was super easy. I cant imagine I would have to take anything else off to put the new signals back on. But I guess I'll find out when the new ones come in from back order...

It may be a little different from the RR to the F4, but I took mine all the way off so I could get to the back of the signals and make sure they are tight and mounted right. Too often, I've found taking short cuts do more damage than good. So I just start out taking the long way. Not saying your way is a short cut, well... it is compared to what I did, but removing the entire front only takes a couple of minutes now and I know my bike a little better.

I've done it both....it was nice taking every piece of the front off and see what I had...you totally don't have to though...especially if have some good tools (ie - ratcheting metric wrenches)
